Awareness of the challenges facing 21st century health and social care and an ability to contribute to system improvement, transformation and high quality service delivery in line with the principles of the Department of Health Reset Plan.

Enabling and championing professionalism
Promoting professional standards, values and behaviours that strengthen nursing and midwifery practice across all settings.

Collaborative and partnership working
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work constructively with a wide range of stakeholders.

Innovation and improvement
Creativity in developing solutions, delivering improvements or influencing positive change, whether within clinical practice, workforce, education, corporate functions or system-wide initiatives.

Effective communication and influencing
Ability to communicate clearly, influence others constructively and demonstrate leadership impact at team, organisational or system level.
