This free one-day event will combine elements of East and South East Asian Heritage Month in September and Black History Month in October, and is open to all RCN members regardless of their background and their role in nursing.
The conference and celebration will include:
- Welcome by RCN President Bejoy Sebastian
- Personal and professional resilience presentation
- Wound care for global majority patients
- Live entertainment and artistic performances, including performance and spoken word poet Dreadlock Alien
- An exhibition
- Lunch and refreshments
Delegates are encouraged to attend the event in traditional dress that reflects their ethnicity or cultural background - and there will be a cultural 'catwalk' display during the day in which they can participate.
